The park is very well known for its brow-antlered deer (sangai also called the dancing deer).

Shree Govindajee Temple

Shree Govindajee Temple is a major tourist place in Manipur. It is one of the largest Hindu Vaishnav temple located in the city of Imphal in Manipur. The temple is designed beautifully with a paved court, two gold plated domes and a large mantapa or congregation hall. The presiding deity of the temple is Gavindaji (incarnation of Lord Krishna).
